would anyone who has bought an nismo exhaust say that they were disappointed as it is too quiet and too close to the oem sound ?

It needs a few 100 miles to "loosen up" dough.

Its not too noisy at idle or when cruising at 3000rpm, but when pushing it it sounds awesome

Quiet HELL NO, wait to you hear limiters set up and the wales meet, his sounds absolutely AWESOME !!!!

 

Can hear him coming a mile of and its not a chavvy sound, its a true sports sound grunt

Would say that its as loud as you would want when you want but as Zedrush says not in a Corsa/Nova way. It really is worth it mate. You can also drive more subtly when required. Just done another 320 mile commute with the roof down yesterday and at 70 (ish) it is there but doesnt annoy, well not me anyway.

hmm, maybe mine has something wrong with it then, since even when I turn engine on it has a nice gargle, perhaps the high flow cats, plenum and induction add to that noise

That'll be it mate. As I say, I do long drives regularily so its a balance. Then again I could always turn the stereo up.

Love my Nismo zorst, coupled with the Kinetix cats, the sound IS awesome, just a bit louder on tickover than standard, but above 2500 revs, it comes alive

plus I think having a carbon bonnet with grooves in, you can hear the induction and plenum come into play more louder
