Replacement Xenon Bulbs 2008 Z

Hi Guys,

 

Just wondered if anyone with a facelift Z has upgraded the Xenon bulbs? The OEM ones are OK but not as good (bright) as some I've had in previous cars BMW etc. Have even adjusted the hight / throw slightly not much improvement.

 

Any thoughts, suggestions?

I find the bi-xenons on my 58' pretty good tbh. I have seen brighter but never an issue. Aren't the bi-xenon bulbs stupidly expensive at like £50+ or something?

Yeah, they are not bad just had better on my 3 series. Yes they are at least £50! Been checking out upgrade bulbs, but don't want to spend £120 for not much difference.

This is something i've thought about for a while so ill follow to see what people recommend.

The bulbs are about £25 a pair on eBay for good ones, don't worry about buying the Philips or Osram ones as they're a waste of money and don't buy too cheap as they'll probably fail.

 

Regarding your issue, I found my lights to be fine

Not sure when they will fail but I'll be interested to see how long before they give up the ghost lol. My mates range rover ones didn't fail til 90K miles!!
