Problems with Safari (the browser not an exotic holiday!)

Is anyone else experiencing problems with Safari today? I use it to access my bank account because they don't support Chrome for some reason best known to themselves

I assume you are using Safari on a Windows PC?

No, on my mac.

Ok, thanks In that case I will try switching it off and back on again. I'm all out of good ideas if that doesn't work but Mr TwoBears will be home later so he might have more of a clue.

Mines is all good, try going into disk utilities, click on your harddrive on the left in the list, click first aid (should be on this already), verify disk, repair disk if required. verify disk permissions, repair disk permissions. Restart

 

This usually solves most problems that I've had.

Sorry Neil, I shut down the computer and went for a drive and when I came home and restarted it, it worked again No idea what was wrong with it but it just wouldn't do anything at all. The coloured wheel just kept spinning round and I couldn't get in or out of Safari.
