Bodyboarder81 Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Hi , I'm looking into getting a set of these ( probably eibach ) for my HR zed , I just have a few questions regarding them. Do they make the ride harsher? Less comfortable ? Would they work well with the tein springs I have? Are they worth the money? Do I need new drop links to go with them ? ( adjustable ones? ) Thanks for your help Quote
Dynamic Turtle Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Added whitelines front and rear to to mine and its made the car more fun to drive at lower speeds as the tails steps out more regularly BUT the payback is less confidence at high speeds unless you have grip to compensate on good tarmac. Less body roll but too and no discernible increase in ride harshness. Improved turn in is less noticeable than the back end which is now very slidey :-) Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Josh, we're fitting the Eibach ARBs tomorrow again with the Whiteline drop links, perfect combo and it'll tighten up the handling perfectly, moreso as you're already lowered... By far the one of the best handling mods that can be carried out, thoroughly recommended by us... Let us know if you opt for this... 1 Quote
scobie140 Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 I've got the white line's front and back with tein springs and then got its tracking done. Made a massive difference I thought. Well worth it Quote
Bodyboarder81 Posted October 25, 2014 Author Posted October 25, 2014 Ok that's some good feed back , thanks . Do they require adjustable drop links? Or are my standard ones ok? Quote
Jp606 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I've got Teins, Eibach ARBs and Whiteline adjustable drop links, absolutely love the way the car handles with this setup. Makes such a huge difference, rear end tightens considerably so be careful and I find under steer to be almost non existent now. Adjustable drop links are recommended, stock ones aren't that strong and are a common failure point. Quote
