chirag1988 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 So I'll be booking in my zed for a service within the next couple of weeks, and on the MOT previously the front brake pads came up as an advisory that they were running thin so I'll be looking to get these done around the same time. I know there's quite a few options around but bearing in mind I only use my zed as a weekend driver and don't really track it or subject it to any extreme driving conditions. I'm looking at these and wanted to ask what people's thoughts are and if there are any alternatives. Please bear in mind I'm on a bit of a budget http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/brake-pads/nissan-350-z-z33-3-5-313hp_v25093_g900005.html http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/c/Nissan_350Z_3.5_2008/p/car-parts/car-brakes/brake-friction/brake-pads/?101700368&1&59b5fa0613a42370bebb2cb339fc091f06d1d4d6&000036# Quote
zzzzz Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I've had the Brembo pads recommended to me - £35 ish Quote
Grundy Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 (edited) Mintex are fine, few people on here run them, had them and the discs on my old golf, no problems. I bought a set of these from Tarmac - http://www.tarmacspo...pTech-pads.aspx Little pricier, but they did their job for 24hours before I blew up Edited October 17, 2014 by grundy225 Quote

ts743 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 (edited) I just bought genuine Brembo's for mine - £53 for F+R delivered, fitting them yourself is stupidly simple on these cars too, making a new set of pads all round very cheap Nobody has mentioned them yet but I would personally avoid EBC kit (many will disagree).
