Urgent help please

Hi guys i have fitted my new pioneer 2600bt unit with the incartec kit, the unit all works great but the steering wheel controls are doing weird things ? When i press volume switch up it turns off the display ? The bluetooth button turns the volume down and the mode button does something random ? I have to be at work by 10pm so need this back in asap. Any help appreciated!!!

Gave up now. Only thing i can think of is the unit is giving off wrong signals an could be the wrong one

Something isn't wired correctly, to state the obvious.

When I wired up my Alpine head unit, I remember wire links that had to be inserted in the plug for the steering wheel controls according to make of head unit. A connection diagram came with the wiring loom. Could this be the problem?

Quite possibly, why don't you contact the supplier and check with them?

I have checked that over and over as i was sure thats the only thing it could be but as far as i can see its exactly as it should be. Going to try incartec tommorow see what they think

Are they individual wires behind the steering buttons? Or is it just a block of wire that plugs into another block?

 

If it's individual, just switch around the wrong ones?

Its a wiring block. You dont go anywhere near the steering wheel controls
