p3 self service bits n bobs

Im going to perform my own p3 service in the next few days but need to get hold of a few bits first.

Does anyone know what size plastic tubing fits over the bleed nipple on the brakes.

Do I need a syringe to get oil into the gearbox? (where could I get one from?)

How much coolant do I need and can it be mixed 50/50 with distilled water? (ill be using the genuine nissan stuff)

Finally does the clutch need bleeding or would it just be sufficient to syringe some fluid out and replace with new?

Cheers, Liam.

Yes You'll need a syringe to refill the gearbox oil, before draining though make sure you can remove the refill plug before removing the drain plug. Got my syringe from machine mart.

10 litres of coolant is what you'll need for a complete swap. The genuine nissan stuff is premixed so no need to dilute.

Fill the gearbox from the top using a long hose and a filler if you do not have a syringe.

Best to bleed the clutch from the slave so that all the old fluid is removed.

Use the genuine Nissan premix for the coolant.

5mm for the bleed hose for the brakes and slave.

Re; the coolant. Found this on eBay. Seems a good deal but I'd just double check that it is definitely the price for 5 Litres. ;)

Cheers, doesn't look a bad price, as long as they send it as one package.

Cheers alex, I've never bled a clutch before, is it just the same scenario as the brakes, pump the pedal, open/close than valve, repeat etc etc
