I have a definite arch mark on my windscreen where the wipers sweep across. i don't know if this is how it's supposed to be or if it's actually been caused by the wipers? There are no scuffs or scratches - it just a different colour.

On the assumption that you've followed Sarnie's helpful advice ( ;) ) what are using to clean it? Does it have silicon coated wipers fitted - may have PIAA written on them?

It is spotless thank you Sarnie (helpful as ever)! Can't see any writing on the wipers or blades other than Japan and R2 on one and R3 on the other. The windscreen actually looks darker where the wipers don't sweep.

I use distilled Malt Vinegar, giving it a good hard wipe with newspaper until it is dry - should remove the the two different colours you are seeing (I use it on the inside as well as out - helps to stop the bloom building up).

if the windscreen is actually marked as opposed to just a dirt film on it, try "jewellers rouge" to polish off any wiper marks or ask someone in the windscreen fitting trade for some of their windscreen polishing paste
