Scrapping old cats

Hi all,

 

I've been told that old catalytic converters are worth something to the scrappys because of the platinum and rhodium inside - what kinda prices have people gotten for theirs in the past? And do you have to go to any kind special metals place? Just wondering so I know what I'm looking at

Use 'search' exact same question asked and debated about a week ago - probably looking at £30 a cat roughly.

My bad, I searched 'cat' rather than cats and the search discarded it for being too short! Cheers guys

Best way to search is by using google ~ just put "350Z UK ..." followed by what you're looking for and you'll get much better success.

 

The forum search function is a bit naff imo.
