rjohnson1993 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Just been to view a car, temperature rose and didn't really drop down, fan didn't kick but possible ddidnt leave it running long enough, noticed expansion bottle was at min point but had coolant in it are these known to use coolant and if so what is usually the cause? Thanks. Quote
Mikeyazure Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 had mine for a year so far, the level hasn't moved... Quote
ZMANALEX Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Should not use coolant, however the level will change in the expansion tank as the coolant temperature increases and decreases. The coolant level should only be checked when cold and at that time should be on the maximum mark. Alex. Quote
Beavis Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Make sure the fans kick in if you are about to purchase. Fan failure is common on the 350. One quick way is to turn the air conditioning on. Quote
rjohnson1993 Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 Didn't kick in. He's going to get it looked at tomorrow before any money leaves my hand. How much will it cost to fix roughly? Quote
rjohnson1993 Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 When air conditioning was on drivers side was running Quote
