N13GEY Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Attended the Chirk venue and what a great time we had! My wife was chief navigator on the trip, arguing successfully with the Tom Tom. We started out in Hampshire and had a pig of trip up. Bad weather and bank holiday weekend traffic to beat all! Took us 6 1/2 hours rather at the 4 1/2 e were expecting. The Saturday drive out which included the Evo Triangle was an education. For the 1st time, I think ever, Clare said "go faster!" Had a couple of the drivers behind me ask if it was OK to go in front! Maybe I was trying to copy James May of Top Gear fame and his handle, Captain Slow! Picked up a lot on Sunday and had no requests to go in front. I'd like to thank all the Team that made the weekend possible. It was well organised, very friendly and a joy to attend.
