Downloading Google routes to a Tomtom 1 satnav

I'm at the Welsh meet this weekend. Anyone able to give me instructions on how to download the Saturday and Sunday routes? Thanks, Nigel

I have a tomtom one xl and did the following.

 

download the tomtom home software, plug in the tom tom, select control device via the software, select new itinerary and start adding way points either via postcode or via the map. Save itinerary.

 

Rinse and repeat for each route.

 

Took me about 20-30 mins last night.

Does your TT allow the use of ITN files? Many don't.

 

Get yourself a copy of TYRE (Trace Your Route Everywhere), best piece of software ever made. Create a route in google maps via drag and drop, then it creates the ITN file for you.
