2" width, 5m long, 1.5mm thick Titanium heat wrap for exhausts/headers etc

 

Also included is 10 steel cable ties

What are the benefits exactly? I have been considering buying a wrap for protection as the car is reasonably low. Are there any implications?

Hi bud,

 

Wrapping your exhaust/headers keeps heat in the exhaust, hot gases move faster than cold ones so your exhaust works more effectively, wrapping headers is popular on high powered cars as it keeps heat out of the engine bay, reduces under bonnet temps which in turn reduces heat soak.
