Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted May 7, 2014 Author Share Posted May 7, 2014 Hi bud, Wrapping your exhaust/headers keeps heat in the exhaust, hot gases move faster than cold ones so your exhaust works more effectively, wrapping headers is popular on high powered cars as it keeps heat out of the engine bay, reduces under bonnet temps which in turn reduces heat soak. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
