well when I declared my exhaust with admiral they added a whopping £19 onto my quote, so I don't think they were that bothered. remap might be a bit different, although it will likely fall into the lowest class for engine improvement - you'd see at most a 10% gain in horsepower from a remap, more likely closer to 5%.

Best thing is to call your insurance provider and ask. Everyone's different :)

 

^^ This ^^ Wouldn't add much I don't think. Beware there's often an 'admin fee' of circa £25 to make any amendments, so best to group any mods up into one hit, rather than tell the insurance company about them individually.

 

This also applies to mods and a remap. If you're thinking of changing intake etc at a later date, wait till you've done all this before getting a remap.
