might be speculation from video games internet storys etc but can you get on the C1? is there any 'Street Racer' cars on it at night or anythign or am i dreaming haha

if you mean the ol'Wangan Racers they're long gone after one of them had an accident on rainbow road at 180+ with a taxi. This is what the wife tells me as she worked in Tokyo for 11 years. I do believe the NSX boys still play "it" on roads around Tokyo. not sure quite how that works in a car but looks fun.

no not the wangan thats the old hunting ground for the midnight club

if im mistaken the wangan is the road out on tokyo bay not the c1 city loop

Ah yes the earthquakes, we had a few a big ones along with a mental typhoon that tore through one night around 3am. I remember we have someone from the London office come over for some meetings and we were in the office and a quake hit, the person said they didn't realise the trains made the office shake so much, before I pointed out that that it wasnt trains and that reminded them that we were on the 16th floor...!

Hope you played pachinko? Watched the train marshalls shove commuters onto trains with their clean white gloves? Noted how absolutely on time trains are all the time! Visited the Meiji shrine? Saw the 'dolls and goths' at Harajuku bridge on the weekend? Used the word 'sumimasen' many times? Went across the Rainbow bridge on the tram? Walked across the crossing at Shibuya? I could go on...in fact probably time I went back for a visit!

It was odd having our 'quake packs' always ready by our beds - basically a rucksack with non perishable food, change of clothes etc that you are meant to grab in case of a quake!

Your Pasmo for the Metro, still got mine with a few journeys left on it, bit like your Travel Card on the tube.
