I'm on Nights this week so I'll get it sorted! Everyone still in? I really do apologise for the delay. Blame my management in Paris that decided to visit and not give me my time off! Quote

Stew Posted June 10, 2008 Author Posted June 10, 2008 Oh well I have had a couple of PMS to say stuff has arrived, if your order hasn't arrived yet then it could be because there was an item out of stock. You'll be glad tto know I ended up spending the most..... I went in with my landie and got some stuff, it fairly came up a treat, still work to do on it but think it'll come up peachy! Quote

Ozz Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Recieved mine some time ago - thanks Stew! I would have said earlier but been away in London. Weather looks crap this weekend so doubt I'll get chance to try it - one question, the slick suds from poorboys says add 1 ounce to 2 gallons - how much is an ounce? American ounce in weight? 1 fluid oz?! How much do people put in - capful? Quote

Always try to wash your car when the surface is cool where possible, i.e. early morning or late evening. We recommend using a two bucket method with grit guards and at least 1 high quality wash mitt to effectively clean your vehicle whilst removing as much risk of scratching your paint as possible. (Two mitts are ideal to designate one to the lower areas of your bodywork and the other to the main panels and glass) Poorboy’s recommend using approx 1oz of product (approx 30ml) per car and we find that unlike other products you don’t need to use more just to get enough suds to actually wash your car! (If you live in a hard water area you may have to use more product) Thoroughly soak the mitt in the wash solution before starting, then working on a panel at a time wash gently in a back and forth motion to prevent surface marring and swirl marks, rinse well after each section remembering to rinse the mitt after each panel in a separate bucket of clean water (+ grit guard ideally). After a final rinse down using low pressure water (straight out of the hose end this encourages more water to “sheet†Quote
