crower stroker kits

Im looking at a brian crower stroker kit to use on the car.

Does any one have any experiences with these kits or any stroker kits in general concerning reliability.

The reason were looking at stroker kits is because the car will be used for competition drifting and were after alot of torque. We feel stoker kits will give us more torque than an FI engine [does anyone disagree with this comparing 2 engines of the same hp one 3.5ltr FI and one 4.2ltr N/A?].

Its also down to cost as the kits cost the same as a FI kit but with the FI you also have to cop out for a compression change [which is alot in it self].

We are opting-out from a turbo set up as heat management will be a nightmare with the confined spaces high rev usage and inconsistant airflow.[and due to the current hatred i have of my current turbo'd drift car]

Any advice/theories/pointers/recomendations/questions are more than appreciated.

cheers in advance

a std aps tt kit will give you 400lb/ft torque from relatively low rpms afaik (should be some dyno pulls here somewhere

stroker kits are still a big question mark in the US, nevermind the UK market!

AEBS was a nightmare (never worked properly) iirc and not much info first hand on the JUN

currently the only stroker kit that hasn't given many issues as far as the public is aware of (you never know what goes on behind doors of builds like these... ) is the GTM one on Alex's (NitrouZ) car with an APS Extreme TT kit.

nevr really seen much about strokers (and their numbers/results) on NA Zeds
