Chris`I Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Clean your tailpipes and get a stubby!! Noticed mine are looking a little dull recently after a clean. I take it you can use Autosol (I think) on them? Quote

I take it you can use Autosol (I think) on them? I did and they come up amazingly. I also cleaned the backbox itself, i think i used tyre shine then realised i had better wash it all off as it gets really hot, lol. So i dont recommend doing that. Quote
Trev-the-Rev Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Any metal polish for the tail trims is fine but Solvol Autosol is among the best. Quote
holtehero Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 +1 on Autosol, did mine again on saturday and they look superb just be careful not to get any on the paintwork as its a bit abrasive Quote
MickJ Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 +2 on Autosol, did mine Saturday, came up like chrome was a bit disappointed with the inside of the pipes best I could get was a matt chrome finish Quote
sl114 Posted July 9, 2007 Author Posted July 9, 2007 OMG, anyone would have thought this was an advertisement for autosol not a spotted thread Quote
Chris`I Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 LOL ok guys, leave this thread alone! See the other one with where I replaced my bumber reflectors to see how I got on with a quick Autosol Quote
