P1 2 & 3 service

After buying my 350Z GT4 direct from a Nissan dealership, I read the service manual and enquired about the cost of each of the P 1 2 & 3 services.

They looked a bit bemused and said they'd never heard of them and the computer wasn't bringing anything up

 

I assume that they do still exist and should be adhered to (incidentally they do have a service dept attached)

 

I doubt I'll be taking my zed there anyway as they'd fitted Accelera tyres on the front (changed immediately) doesn't inspire confidence

It does indeed still exist, you have to love some main dealers

 

The service schedule is P1,P2,P1,P3,P1,P2,P1,P3 (Repeat)

I thought as much

 

The last person had a service stamp in the book that just states oil change. I guess it's all out of sync now. I'll check it tonight using this service schedule and see where it needs to be

I'd forget main dealers though if I was you and just find a good independent garage to use.

Main stealer's are useless, all they want is to sell you a car and after that your on your own.

 

They probably denied knowing anything about servicing as you might have

 

expected them to do one before you picked it up.
