Personally speaking mine is oversize and so is my luggage net. It has hooks along the side so it can be clipped to the top loops as well so I can contain alot more beneath it. If I can remember where I got it i'll post up a link...

and stretches to fit pretty large objects

I might be able to get hold of some nets @ £10 a pop from a bloke i know, mesuring approx size 60cm x 60cm, then expanded size approx 108cm x 108cm. Would there be anyone intrested, i got one in mine and it works a treat ?
