Ricey Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I've just noticed something in that ad which I have concerns about - bad weather. If I got one of these cars, it would be my main and only car. I have heard that you can't use these in the rain - is this something that I need to factor in? I'm not a good driver. I used the zed in weather as bad as snow without any problem at all. It's big fat heavy arse is quite useful really! Quote
richmillions Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Ah I see, thank you. It all makes absolute sense now. Is anyone familair with Junction 17 cars at Peterborough? I'm thinking of going up to have a look on Saturday. Mine came from there, had a few niggles which they eventually sorted, pm me if you want more details. Quote
roadtrip Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Is anyone familair with Junction 17 cars at Peterborough? I'm thinking of going up to have a look on Saturday. I went to see a car at Junction 17 when I was looking and I wasn't at all impressed. The car wasn't in the great condition they said, the paintwork was poor and they refused to show me the documentation and history unless I agreed to buy the car. The guy I spoke to was very shifty and not just in a normal car salesman way. I wouldn't go to the trouble of going there unless you're fairly local with nothing to lose. Quote
Neptune86 Posted November 29, 2013 Author Posted November 29, 2013 Right I think I'm probably going to give Junction 17 a miss based on a few opinions. This is my current shortlist... http://www.redlinespecialistcars.co.uk/used-car/nissan-350z-coupe-35-v6-313-gt-3dr-925 http://www.independentbmw.co.uk/stockdetail.asp?carID=1080 The first one I have driven and was very impressed with it. The black one I'm going to look at tomorrow. I know we have already mentioned the latter briefly, but as a comparison what do you all think? I've been offered a 3 year warranty on the first one and a 6 month on the second. Quote
djb55 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Both good cars but I spose the one with the 3 year warranty would be the one to choose ?? Quote
