marzman Posted November 18, 2013 Share Posted November 18, 2013 Hi guys, Today i went to the final stage of the WRC in North Wales, at one of the 'RallyFest' stages. A friend won a pair of tickets so we made a day of it. Have to say, the day was a bit disappointing - rallying isnt much of a spectator sport, and as it's so spread out it seems like the organisers struggle to make a spectacle of it, so the Rallyfest location was a bit poor to be honest. Still, i got some okay pics. I bought a DSLR camera in the week so got to give it a bit of a workout. No idea what im doing with it yet as i dont have an interest in photography, but still had fun! What was he doing this weekend...................... Yes he was marshalling had a marshals pass for access here there and every where. (how does he bloody do it ?) Popularity of this event in the UK has seriously declined since the McRae & Burns era. I used to be a big fan in the 70's during the Escort era when there was plenty of sideways action, even competing myself on a few occasions. A lot of the big drivers have left, struggling manufactures and little if any TV coverage. Its going downhill sadly and fast.
