Steering vibration/judder

Evening all, any help on this will be appreciated.

Recently my 08 zed has developed a judder/pulsing through the steering wheel at any speed.

The judder can be felt through the steering wheel when stationary, going into roundabouts and coming out as you bring the steering back to straight. So basically any input you can feel the judder.

Fluid is at the correct level, no bubbles visible in the res when going lock to lock, no leaks can be seen. Tyre pressures are all spot on, I have noticed that the front tyres inside edges are getting slightly low but surely this would not show itself as judder when stationary.

Full alignment carried out a few months ago.

Thanks in advance :)

I had a similar problem on my vw and it turned out to be the clutch pulley on the alternator, which had seized. Theres plenty on youtube about them. I changed the pulley and it was instantly cured.

Not 100% sure the z has one but most modern cars do apparently.

Power Steering pressure switches go mate. I have 3 of them. Can you get an engineer to look at it or specialist garage? Where are you based?

Hi mate I am an engineer just havnt got ramp access to get underneath and have a look. Gone as far as I can on a wet Stoney driveway. I'm based in ampthill, near Bedford. I'm not sure where my closest zed specialists are, probably cougar. Are these common to fail then on the zed's?
