Genuine LED tail light upgrade

Hi Guys,

 

I am about to fit a pair of LED tail lights, am I right in thinking it is simply 'plug and play?'

Mine we almost plug and play. Had to trim a small slide of plastic off the plug connector on the car. Easy enough though

Got any info on how to shave the plug as I got a set of LED to fit and the plugs are different.

there are small guides on the male part of the connector (on the light) that are a perfect mirror of the pre facelift ones. They just need filed off to fit in the female.

 

It's so obvious what you have to do when you get the old ones out.

Hey Will, sadly not - Buster fitted them for me at the Zed Shed. When he pulled out the snips to make the plugs fit he told me to go put the kettle on haha!

Looks like Kyle has te solution though
