I'm on the phone do hard to navigate to find it. Is it on that site somewhere and do I have to bid live or is it more ebay style with a max bid?

Yes you need to register with DVLA, I bought a few at auction without any problems, just make sure you understand the extra fees.

Extra fees as in vat plus £80 registration fee? It'll be more for me as I need the reg to be prereged on a mainland car then transferred to me in Northern Ireland. Do you think the DVLA direct rather than a broker would accommodate this?
