Steve,

I've put myself into the right group (B1) as per your info. There was one other missing but not sure who and where. (not sure if it was someone off here)

Just edit your original post on here...

having just read the track info, how strict are they on this towing eye fitted both front and rear???

Not noticed it before on track days, just in competition.

Also, will passengers need helmets as it only mentions drivers??

(With no reference to full face either for those that were wondering.)

towing eye: we have the holes, and the towing eye in the boot if needed...

also noticed the non-reference about full face helmets so mine will do ;)

Yes you can, but they mustn't be hand held by the driver, goes without saying, and have to be approved at the track if they are mounted type.
Ahh ok, so my makeshift clamp and camera probably wont be accepted then

Sorry if I am reading this wrong, but does that mean the missus can come with me in the parade lap and hold a camcorder? The last track day I went to you had to have fixed cameras and couldnt have a passenger hold one.

Also slightly on the track topic, do we need track insurance for the parade lap? I havent seen any info and dont fancy paying through the teeth for insurance for a parade lap.

not gonna be any cheaper than that i don't think mate

Noooooo :headhurt: Hmm dont know what to do now. Want to be on the parade, but dont want to endanger my baby. From what I have been reading on Z Club forums, there may be a fair amount of speed involved. Originally thought it would just be a slow cruise around the track, but some faster than expected speeds have been mentioned.

Might just sit in the crowd and take piccies of you all

From previous outings, a passenger holding a camera on a parade lap shouldn't cause too much alarm.

They do get a bit worried though when some dodgy looking contraption holding a camera appears. Especially when in the windscreen area.

Inside roof mounted cameras are prob the best but the Zed doesn't lend itself well to that.

Prob fixed in the shelf area strapped to the rear brace.

I am sure there will be a bullet camera company there willing to sell you their wares or even rent them out.

Check out ebay for the lates gadgets.
