indy88
Hi guys, My 350z underwent a p3 service and brake pad change about 6 weeks ago I've noticed the rear squeeking on the odd ocassion when braking at slow speeds, I was wondering whether this is due to new brake pads or something else as it doesnt always occur when braking
Lincolnbaggie
Could be drop links?
GT Driver
See my recent thread here Indy88: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/73558-creaking-rear-suspension-after-track-day/ Turned out to be the rear drop links...
cs2000
Id say drop links. A good test is go and push down on the rear of the car 9one side at a time however), get it bouncing a little. If you hear the noise then its drop links
indy88
Thanks for the suggestions guys I've had a quick check by pushing the rear of the car up and down (each side one at a time) and no noise, I've also looked at the video posted in the thread linked above and the noise is not the same as that. The noise is more higher pitched and more of a squeal. It sounds like the brakes and only happens occasionally when braking at slow speeds
GT Driver
It could very well be just a bit of brake squeel Indy. Could be a sticky caliper on the rear?
