Dayy Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Hey guys, with the recently heatwave I've been wanting to lower the windows on my car a little bit while I am at work/home but still lock the car. However if I do, the alarm starts going off after about 2 minutes. Is there a way around this or is it just not possible to lock your car with the windows down? Its an 06 Facelift with the GT Pack, if any of that makes a difference. I know other cars can do this (My sisters does, for example, and then has a sensor for if anything passes through the open window). Quote
Jp606 Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 I realised this the other day too at the supermarket when I came back to my car with the alarm blaring. Doh! Only dropped them about an inch as it was so hot. Quote
HaydnH Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Yes, but it's a faff: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/72016-350z-interior-alarm-sensor/ Quote
ddcboyle Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 What if you lock the car with the key instead of button? Will that make a difference? Quote
cs2000 Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Yep. Stop car. Turn off. Turn key to ignition then off 3 times. Get out. Lock car. Done Quote
