smellstevens Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I got in the car today and when I started it up the oil pressure gauge went to the maximum position, past the 120 mark. This was the first start of the day and drove completely fine. I thought maybe the dial was shagged but when I turn car off it drops normally so maybe a sensor? Anyone else had this issue? Easy fix? lmc Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Oil pressure sensor Had the same problem with mine. Be careful if you are going to change it yourself its a tapered thread and will be an expensive mistake if it;s done wrong trust me Quote
AMT Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 The guage always starts high until the cars settled and warmed up. its goes down. if it doesn't after so many minutes of driving...then you might have an issue lol Quote
