welshboyo Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 hi guys i was given these when i just bought my 350z, can anyone tell me what make they are and are they worth putting these extras on?? Quote
ddcboyle Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I had air filter that looked identical to that when I bought the car. The car would stall if I slowed down too fast, cutting out steering etc. So I went and bought new one. Not sure if the previous owner had a copy of your one, of it its the same manufacturer. But it felt and looked like halfrauds ripspeed Quote
rtbiscuit Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 filter looks like a cheap ebay job, as for the Cats, are they definetly cats or are they resonated de cat pipes? can you see a filter matrix inside? if they are hi flow cats, then they are worth keeping and sticking on the car. Quote
welshboyo Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 yes i can see a filter matrix inside, shall i put these pipes on then?? and leave the induction kit alone then. Quote

Paddy78 Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 It does look like a Japspeed... They are terrible quality, fit only for the bin! HFC's should be good though. Quote
Paddy78 Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66658-japspeed-induction-kit-opinions/ The comment from Dedman is fantastic! Quote

They are silenced decats, Japspeed/Horsham maybe. If you have a friendly Mot station then yes put them on. They are not technically road legal but its your call. Nice noise and slight gains with a remap Quote
