pete james Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 true or false hub dyno's gives higher readings than wheel dynos/rolling road? Quote
Dave-350 Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 What do you mean? Reading from the wheels will always be less due to loss of power through the transmission. But most dynos are pretty accurate whatever reading is being taken. Quote
pete james Posted June 17, 2013 Author Posted June 17, 2013 is power to the hub higher than power to the wheels? Quote
The Chubby Ninja Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 (edited) At the hubs will be slightly higher because you loose a little through the wheels. Flywheel hp is even higher because you loose some through the transmission Edited June 17, 2013 by The Chubby Ninja Quote
The Chubby Ninja Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 is power to the hub higher than power to the wheels? Yes Quote
Ekona Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 It doesn't matter. Either a hub dyno or chassis dyno will still have to guess your engine power, just make sure whichever one you use you stick with and you'll be fine. Quote
