NeilMH Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Sounds like the ideal start. It's nearly always the brakes that are the primary problem. I bet you are really looking forward to the next one. Quote
brillomaster Posted June 8, 2013 Author Posted June 8, 2013 You'll scratch the paintwork putting your lids on there like that, naughty naughty. Have you seen the rest of the car?! a few scratches on the roof are the least of our cosmetic worries! Quote
Will370z Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Well after the fun of the track day last month we have replaced the pads and disks and sorted the suspension so the bmw should no longer handle like a boat. We have also added bonnet clips so we can get to the engine. Garage had some interesting feedback, apparently the boot had additional wiring for a second battery to support more electronic equipement, it seems our bmw used to belong to mr undercover policeman Cant wait for sunday and a long drive up to lincoln to test the car out at blyton park. Then at the end of the month get to put our green bmw up against keysers green bitch....wonder who will win that one Hopefully i will try to stop having so much fun and take some pics is time. Quote
vroom811 Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Hullavington is prbably one of the best airfiled tracks going at the moment. It's run very efficiently by Motorsport Events. Never any problems with too many cars on the track. Quote
Gudzy Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 I should be going to Blyton at some point this year, it's popular with MX5's. The forecast is really good, I hope you both enjoy the day. Quote
