monkfish
My car's just coming up to it's 36,000 mile service. What "P" is it and how much should it cost? (Nissan providing everything). Just that I think I got shafted on my last service.
Zzzz...
36k miles gets you a P3 service (the most expensive service) 280 quids gets you... Oil Filter Brake Fluid Air filter Standard Gubbins checks (greasing hinges, screen wash etc...) They will run a Diagnostics and check the ECU (not sure they do anything after checking through... ) They'll tell you if you need your pads replacing... ( which is extra money in their pockets if you change them... ) If you are very caring over you car etc... you could have the T/M oil and RR Diff Oil replaced... ( it is indicated for 36k service, but Zeds actually don't need them...) but this will be extra cost... Overall it feels like the dealer has inserted a bit shaft up yours and you gladly payed for it... while he's laughing at you. If your car is not in warranty go to a specialist... you'll probably get all of the above better done and at a lower cost... If it is in warranty figure out if you think you are going to need the warranty left unchallenged... (personally I wish I took it to a specialist)

The cheapest I found was the East Side of Glasgow Arnold Clark. They gave me a price, I then phoned Parks headquarters and they beat it slightly, plus the garage is closer.
