Jmanji Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Car is running fine, but on Sunday I tried shifting gear from 5th to 2nd doing 30ph, As I changed gear and accelerated there was a bang/ knock sound pos from the diff? Also tried a few other things and got a similar sound, car seems perfect 1-6 and 6 -down but when you drop down to go it seems to make this knock/bang ? Any ideas, I thought perhaps diff oil or gear oil needed? Quote

The Chubby Ninja Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I nailed it in 1st a few months ago and missed 2nd and mine made a big bang too. I thought id blew the gearbox but its been fine since. Lesson learned not to drive like a tit 1 Quote
