Rajzed Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I am looking at purchasing wheels, and I am not 100% about whether these wheels will fit. I have a set of Rays with the GT Brembo kit. The wheels I am looking at come in the following sizes: 19x9,5j et0 in matt black and 19x10,5j et12 in hyperblack or I can have 19"x10,5J all around et12 (also got these in black chrome) Which of these options will fit my car without rolling the fenders? I don't mind buying spacers if need be (already have 20mm on front and 25mm on back) Thank you in advance!! Raj Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 With those offsets no spacers will be needed... They may even catch the arch too, more so the ET0. Quote
Rajzed Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 So will they catch my arch even without spacers? Quote
Rajzed Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 If I get the front with 9.5J with ET0, and the rears with 10.5J ET12, will they sit flush against my wheel arch, without it protruding out of the wheel arch? Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 The ET0 most likely will, ET12 will be close, more so if your Zed is lowered which it is, as I supplied your springs... Quote
Olliecrx Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I thought 10.5 up front might be a touch wide? Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 We supply the Rota Grids, 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 both with ET20 and this is how they sit - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56120-rota-grid-wheels-19â€-–-new-colour-options…/#entry1020198 Quote
Olliecrx Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 See if the 9.5 came with the same dish setup as the 10.5 I'd be all over them, but I'm not keen on that set up, that's why I want varrstoens. But.... If 10.5 fitted all round I reckon that would look sweet Quote
Rajzed Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Oh no! So it looks like it will scrape then? Is there any other way around it, as I have found a good deal with these wheels... I guess worst case scenario, I just buy coilovers and lift the car a bit Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Even with standard ride height with ET0 you may get tyre to arch contact over bumps... 1 Quote
Rajzed Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Ohhh maayynn... But look at this:http://www.varrstoen.eu/blog.php#b32 Look under "For our german customer" The dude is running ET0! Albeit with some stretched tyres.. Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Most opt for stretch tyres to get aggressive offsets to fit... Quote
370Ad Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I wouldn't go for anything more than 9.5J on the front. The 245 tyres are already stretched on this setup anything more would look silly IMO Quote
Ceejay29 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Get the arch roller out .....and slightly stretched tyres 1 Quote
tony.r123 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I run 19"x9.5j ET20 front and 19"x10.5j ET20 rear supplied by CS with no issues, the rears are close though. I'd be weary of much lower offsets. Quote
buster Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I run 19"x9.5j ET20 front and 19"x10.5j ET20 rear supplied by CS with no issues, the rears are close though. I'd be weary of much lower offsets. any lower off set than that on the rear with 10.5j your need to roll the arches. Quote

I have seen some examples - but not sure of how true the photos are! Quote
buster Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) yes you can....i had to roll the arches with 275/35/19 fitted to 10.5j wheel.i am 40mm lowered as well.just had to replace the rears and opted for some stretch look and added more poke with spacering.running 255/35/19 with 30mm spacer added Edited March 27, 2013 by buster Quote
Rajzed Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 Interesting... I guess there's only one way to find out.. wait for the wheels to come! :yahoo: Quote
S1 HNK Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 They will rub, you will need to roll the arches. That's what put me off the Varstoens Quote
