spursmaddave Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 It might take 30 mins but then you have to let the sealant go off so down time there.... Quote
smudgedon Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 It might take 30 mins but then you have to let the sealant go off so down time there.... So a few hours at most. Not worth buying another airbox in my opinion Quote
spursmaddave Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Overnight at least, the last thing you want is something coming loose in there... Quote
wanted Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 Yep needs overnight to be sure it's cured, not worth risking sucking something into the engine. 350ad I'm looking for something alot cheaper than that mate, I don't need filter or any pipe work, just a box. Quote
spursmaddave Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 (edited) Just do it over a weekend when you don't need the car If your anywhere near Kent you could borrow my spare one, it's already modded too Edited March 16, 2013 by spursmaddave Quote
wanted Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 I work evening/nights at the weekend, i think i might get a lift to work and leave the box to cure then. Although someones just PM'd me with one for £20, so if that's a goer i'm sorted , and when i come to sell i can swap them over and sell the one with the stack in it Quote
spursmaddave Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 You must get an evening/night off now and again surely Sounds like a plan though, an airbox is a fairly easy thing to shift I recon when the time comes Quote
wanted Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 You'd think so wouldn't you I'm looking into a "spare"car for me and the wife, between work, kids and horses there's not many 18 hour periods that both cars aren't needed. Quote
