jonathan73 Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Guys I am keen to get back into karting and was hoping to stimulate interest in a karting event for local members and others who want to travel. : My thinking so far is something along the line of:- A team of 3 (350z-uk members plus mates) Endurance race (60 mins / 100 laps plus practice) Held at Amen Corner Karting NG22 9DB www.amencornerkarting.co.uk £90 / team - THAT'S ONLY £30 EACH including buffet, & PRIZES My thinking is that it'd be held on a Summer's evening rather than weekend. Anyone interested?

Count me in - as long as I can come and see if I fit before race day! Prune juice and lettuce leaves for a week before I think.

Ade McB Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 I wish I still lived in Nottingham, I used to be about 20 mins from Amen Corner! Now its about 140 miles away! If theres enough notice on dates then I may tie it in with a trip to my folks down the road.

So far, those interested: Beavis Sarnie Lomoto Chesterfield Ade McB Kev946 Does Friday night count as a weekend for you guys? The problem being that weekends are of course the kart place's busiest times and not really available for us However, a development has happened....... My brother & I are buying 6 karts and hope to create a mini series for owners and guests :thumb: We'd have use of the track during quiet times only though. More info will come once we've sorted out that plan. I'll still try to put together this Endurance Evening though b'cos there's been interest from my Bro's Westfield Club. (One guy there has a Westfield that does 0-60 in 2.9 secs )
