HARMLU Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Evening people, Soon I will be getting a garage to replace my flywheel and clutch. I am not sure, but is the clutch slave cylinder the same part as the release bearing. Just trying to get my head around it!? It is a uk 2004 model. Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 No m8 they are two seperate items As Tony said, they are two separate parts... Quote
ZMANALEX Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 On your 2004 model, the slave cyl. is external and not part of the release bearing. The flywheel, clutch assembly and release bearing are all within the gearbox bell housing. The slave cyl. is bolted onto the outside of the gearbox. All the above parts including OEM dual mass flywheels, lightened single mass flywheels, clutch kits, release bearings, slave cyls and all fluids are in stock and good to go same/next day if required. You will find them all in my sub forum Z store. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/137-zmanalex/page__prune_day__100__sort_by__Z-A__sort_key__last_post__topicfilter__all If you require any individual links or any further information then please do let me know.
