Vlad Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Had my plenum cover off to polish and cleaned TB while at it. Want to do TB reset, just in case i moved valve slightly. Found this: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53148-ecu-accelerator-pedal-throttle-valve-resets/page__hl__throttle Question is.... do I need to do everything on that list (incl ECU reset etc) or just "Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning" part? Plenum spacer getting fitted as well. Thanks Vlad Quote
Dblock Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 No just accelerator pedal reset and throttle closed reset. Quote
Dblock Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Take like an hour to do it as its a pain in the backside. Quote
FUG Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Take like an hour to do it as its a pain in the backside. Because of the timings required to do it do you mean? I notice a lot of ppl have no luck / joy Quote

I notice a lot of ppl have no luck / joy If you do it with a stop watch, you'll be fine. Tricky bit is depressing throttle fully five times within 5 seconds, bloody hard to keep count of both in your head. Quote

Dblock I assume you mean "Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning" jamesyj suggests doing the "Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning)" as well as "Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning" Can someone clarify please Quote
