I was sync'ing my girlfriends 3gs to put some new music on it. iTunes will fully sync the phone, but the moment I try to put any music, whether it's one track or 800, it's freezes and crashes after about 7 minutes. I've tried wiping the phone clean thinking it may sync like that - same problem. I've tried re-downloading iTunes and selecting to fix problems - same problem. I've tried completely uninstalling iTunes and re-downloading the full program - same problem. So now she's stuck with a phone that's got no music and I can't put anymore on because it just bloody crashes. I've not dared to try it on my iPhone 4s because I can't risk losing anything work related. Never had any problems with any iTunes before version 11 has come out. The process works fine but follow the instruction carefully regarding copying/backing up your media, I also made copies of my playlists as a precaution.
