is it my imagination or is the new Itunes totally rubbish!!!!!!!!

 

i thought it was bad with previous versions but this takes the biscuit. it proper crap!!

 

can i roll back to the previous version??

I've been having a big problem with this version. I was sync'ing my girlfriends 3gs to put some new music on it. iTunes will fully sync the phone, but the moment I try to put any music, whether it's one track or 800, it's freezes and crashes after about 7 minutes.

 

I've tried wiping the phone clean thinking it may sync like that - same problem.

I've tried re-downloading iTunes and selecting to fix problems - same problem.

I've tried completely uninstalling iTunes and re-downloading the full program - same problem.

 

So now she's stuck with a phone that's got no music and I can't put anymore on because it just bloody crashes. I've not dared to try it on my iPhone 4s because I can't risk losing anything work related.

 

Never had any problems with any iTunes before version 11 has come out.

They probably made it crash on 3 & 3GS.... Only ever compatible 1 step backwards

 

All part of Apples upgrade policy no support for older H/W......

Seems to lag a little for me though might have to trim down the 90,000 tracks a little....

Reverted back to 10.7 this afternoon on one machine. The process works fine but follow the instruction carefully regarding copying/backing up your media, I also made copies of my playlists as a precaution.
