Sorry...It's Probably Been Covered Before.

Basically, I'm very confused and getting more lost as I try and dig through this forum.

 

I've bought my new Head Unit, as I'm bored of the radio and I'm pretty sure Mrs E isn't too bothered about listening to the engine on long journeys. (CDs no longer work properly in my car)

 

It's this Pioneer HU I've bought http://www.halfords....tegoryId_265857 (AVH-2400BT)

 

I've got a 2006 Non GT Zed, It isn't BOSE and has steering wheel controls...what else is it I need to buy to keep the steering wheel controls with my new head unit (even if it is just Volume and Seek).

 

I'm not going all out on ICE just yet so it is still using the standard speakers in the car and obviously I won't be bypassing the handbrake for the DVD player as that would be irresponsible .

 

Any help on this would be most appreciated. Thanks

I would give sextons a ring and explain what you want. I think the new looms they do don't require any soldering. Just plug and play. Also the correct fascia adapter.
