Just make sure when you change direction with the can your not still spraying, make sure your overspray - yes its obvious but you would be amazed!

 

One try we use for american football helmets is to hang on piece of string (then a piece of cotton in this case) twist the string up, so it spins when you release then start spraying up and down - just a nice tip, not sure if relevant on this one.....

 

Also any actual tips on detagging the car to install these? Mine are in terrible condition and would love to replace!

Hair dryer or hot water to soften the glue (pull and pry with paint COVERED/PROTECTED). Then something like tardis or autoglym tar and bug to get rid of the residue glue. Meths also works and degreases the surface ready for the new one.
