Well after almost 4 years of a fantastic ownership I have finally bid farewell to my "Peaches" a ginger 350z. Only to be seduced by a honking supercharged Range Rover Sport to safely transport my impending first child. So as I leave I leave fond memories but hope you all welcome a new Zed owner to your fold as well as you did I. I just wanted to say an enormous thank you to all the contributors on here as I have found this to be the font of knowledge for all things Zed. Although, I myself would by no stretch consider myself a petrol head and as such did not have a lot to share, when I reached out for guidance you guys and gals were right there to help, I even managed to find a few things using the search function Thank you to all for the memories and I hope to be back in a Datsun when I have the inevitable mid-life crisis! I'd Love to but I'm pretty broad and find bucket dang uncomfortable I'd love to use Hide and Seat but at £500 a seat aint gonna wash with the bank manager

Hey all, Been getting a nasty noise when running the car from cold for about the first 8 gear shifts at about 2.7k revs I get a nasty metal clatter that last for about 100 revs. Any ideas people? If it helps I've been told I have a noisy thruster bearing on the gearbox. I'm not a petrol head I'm a geek Just want to get this fixed so I can get on with my mods guilt free. Thats my only concern about the orange, as they doo appear a "washed out orange" - as I'm getting a large bulk of the interior dipped, concerned they will look cack

Had the Zed serviced by Nissan last year, never been the same since, sounds like crappy and very ping'y - So this year looking to have it done by someone better. Can anyone suggest some place in Sussex (am near Haywards Heath)

Device is essentially limited. Audio for calls connection is great but mic is pants. Need to look to move onto on board mic or relocate, everyone complains they can hear me. Bluetooth audio is a little juddery at time and flakey on connection. I don't have mine in the steering wheel yet road radio didnt have the part in stock. So am waiting to pull it all out again to have various parts dipped. Appauled at how poor support is for android, especially as I hate apple and would never own one of their piece of junk. On reflection and reading back my post, could have done the same install if not better for a lot less, 300 + all the other bits for instsll. for this head unit is far too much. Shaking my head, what was I thinking

No, terrible luck! Pioneers tech support speak a good talk, but ara ctually useless. Wont work with Note3 because the app is Pants! it works but the app crashes out.

Hey Fonts of Knowledge, I just replaced the motor on my passenger side 2004 Zed - managed to just get it donw before the rain hit! However just found a problem - When I wind the window up when the door is closed, then open the door the top of the window just caches on the insde of the roof, so cant cleanly open the door. Although the motor auto bring it down a bit after, its just a bit out of sync. When the rain has stooped i will sup[ply a video, but any clues for now? Many Thanks!

I live on a farm, and there is some CCTV, I can easily put another camera up on that side of my house so will relocate one tonight. Grr just gets you so annoyed! And yes I agree a venting forum is a good shout!

no, its the full lock set - not just the key. If i had just the key done they would still be able to get in the car and rob it blind and/or hotwire it. Considering they have my phone aswell (with my address on it) I'm not taking the chance. GRRR

Had my phone and car keys stolen last night, and lovely people at Nissan want to lighten my wallet to the tune of £777 to change the lock set on the Zed - I should think 666 would be more appropriate! Oh and the kicker, need to wait 3-4 weeks for the lock set to arrive! Rant Over, thanks for listening!
