Bose stereo problems

I am getting intermittent "interruptions to sound" when playing a CD (original Bose stereo fitted to 57 plate 350z). Happens only on CD option - and not radio - and seems to be on multiple disc options ( I.e. not just disc 1). I guess it points to the head unit but would be good to hear if anyone has experienced the same problem - and how to solve it without buying a new unit! Also any suggestions of good Repairers in West Midlands / North West / North Wales areas? Many thanks

If you mean 'skipping' CD, it's a common problem with the Bose HU. If you use the search it will give you the available options, may even be in a sticky somewhere.

Or if you want it fixing I have a good 07-09 CD changer I could fit to your bose along with mp3 tape deck hack. PM sent
