Simon+Kat Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Has anyone had one of these? works about £255 shipped. I wonder if there would be any fitting issues. Any thoughts? http://www.ebay.com/itm/INFINITI-G35-COUPE-NISSAN-350Z-FAIRLADY-DUAL-EXHAUST-CATBACK-4-5-BURNT-TIP-/120998789973?hash=item1c2c170355&item=120998789973&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr Quote
glrnet Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Not personally, but seems ridiculously cheap to me Quote

Simon+Kat Posted October 24, 2012 Author Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) Looks like a lot of work has gone into the build too, the video on that ebay listing has a sound clip fitted to an Infinity G35, sounds sweet. I'm tempted Is there usually an issue fitting US spec pipes to UK cars? Edited October 24, 2012 by Simon+Kat Quote

JackStrong Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 As an old HKS employee I would have to say "you have to pay to play". Probs a lesser grade steel, so bring on pitting and corrosion. Quote
Simon+Kat Posted October 24, 2012 Author Posted October 24, 2012 it says T-304 stainless steel, surely stainless wont rust? Is the diff cover trimming drastic, or do-able? Quote
Dblock Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I dont think that works out at 255. Are you sure thats with international shipping and fees? Its one meaty exhaust check out godspeed or Xo2 on the us websites. Quote
Simon+Kat Posted October 24, 2012 Author Posted October 24, 2012 $298 + $95 (shipping to UK) = $393 Currency convertor converts that to £245. Quote
Luke0549 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 $298 + $95 (shipping to UK) = $393 Currency convertor converts that to £245. That's silly cheap then! Quote
Dblock Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 $298 + $95 (shipping to UK) = $393 Currency convertor converts that to £245. Plus tax remember. Still cheap as this is a true dual so comes with Y pipe too. But if you dont like loud bassy exhausts this isnt for you. Quote
Simon+Kat Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 Not yet, but im seriously thinking about it, i tried to pm Zugara because he had a similar pipe with a few issues in fitting, but it says he can no longer accept pm's !?!?. I wanted to grill him about it! Quote

Simon+Kat Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 Just tried to PM Zugara again, still says he can no longer accept. Has he been a naughty boy? Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Zugara needs to delete some old PMs before he can accept any more, his inbox is full... Quote
Simon+Kat Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 Wish i was that popular . I have just messaged the guy wanting to swap his HKS rep, asked about fitting issues. Quote
Jake4136 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Iv been Pm'ing a member on here and he bought up this point Ah, be careful the USDM (American 350z) which is left hand drive is a different shape under the car. If you by an exhaust from the USA for the US model 350z it wont fit, a lot of modifications needs to be done because of the different under car layout. JDM and UKDM 350z's are the same under car layout. In the states they would see our cars as an import.Get in contact with the seller, ask him if he has an import version as the under car layout is slightly different due to being right hand drive. Is it alot of work or just a bit of trimming that needs to be done? Thanks Quote
Dblock Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Usually just the diff cover needs trimming but if you have a JDM no problems. Quote
