Black Soot On Tail Pipes

If its a stock car & running richer than it should it would throw a light on the dash. If its got HFCs or decats these will help add to the soot. I doubt it's anything to worry about. Just remember you are driving a 3.5l with reasonable performance, not some Eco 1litre with an egr valve & 1000cell cat!

It's only throw you fault code up if it's well out of specification, it still can be running rich just a bit and causing the soot without fault codes. Otherwise I agree I wouldn't worry about it, just wash the car and enjoy the power. :D :D :D
