invame Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Hi all, I'm fed up with the thin boot mat flying all over the place while driving and was thinking of buying some underlay/foam and cutting out a template in the shape of the boot mat and sticking it to the mat with carpet adhesive (unless there's a thicker mat you can already buy for the Zed?). I'm not too bothered about the sound deadening properties of the material (although it would be an added bonus but not at the cost of adding excessive weight) and I'd prefer it not to have any adhesive already applied. It needs to be sturdy enough to stay in one place though and flexible enough to be able to remove in case I have to access the spare wheel etc., so if anyone has any ideas of the best material to use, thickness, cost, etc., your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I'm leaning towards underlay felt but there may well be something better out there that someone has used in the past. Quote

There's 20% off at the moment and they do them for roadsters as well if anyones interested. Thanks all for the pointers. Quote
