Hi guys, I'm pretty sure my clutch is on its way out. Only noticed it today, as I use more than 2500 revs the revs jump up with no acceleration. And then they drop back. My understanding makes me think its a clutch. However I have a 56 plate and that is a odd year to find parts for I'm told?? Any ideas what clutch I need to get and where to get it??

Cheers, Rhys.

Certainly sounds like a slipping clutch. The clutch for your car (assuming it's not a freakishly early-registered MY07 car) is the same as for all Zeds up to MY06 so not a problem to get hold of. As suggested .... :pmzmanalex:

Thanks for all the help. Alex you say that the clutch in your store is right for my z. Defo fit a 56 plate? And how would I go about buying it?

Cheers. Rhys.

You'll need a few more posts for pm's to work I think. Alex deals via pm

I'm a complete noob at this .... What's a pm?

Rhys

Top left you have a little tab that says '0 new messages' click on it and you go into you pm's (private messages).

Think you have to post more than 5 times for it to activate though.

Rhys,

I previously sent you a PM (personal message) with all the details.

However you can email me at alexthoms@btinternet.com if you find that easier.

Just to confirm that the clutch kits are definately for a 56 plate :#1:

Alex :)
